We couldn’t help but call this bar the ‘Chocolahaha’. It’s inspired by Julia’s infectious laugh and is meant to make others laugh too. That’s where we found our match: we both love making things that make you happy. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t get happy from Tony’s? With the dark days ahead, we could all use a little extra cheer.

The unique thing about the Chocolahaha bar is that it consists of two half-bars in one cheerful box. Because laughing is even more fun when you do it together, and this way the Chocolahaha is even easier to share. One half pops and crackles with a touch of sprinkles, the other side is a salty crunch with pretzel and almond. Two sides, in other words, inspired by the two sides of Julia. She is mainly known for her cheerful, exuberant energy and infectious humor. But Julia has another side too: she tells it like it is, stands up for others, and is not afraid to share her unfiltered opinion. In this way, she uses her platform not only to entertain, but also to start conversations and get her followers thinking.

But it goes further, because with this bar you are also joining our fight against exploitation in cocoa. All cocoa in Tony’s chocolate is purchased in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire via Tony’s sourcing principles. This means we always pay cocoa farmers a price that allows them to earn a living income for their families and invest in their productivity and the resilience of their farms. Just like the two sides of Julia, at Tony’s we are also always crazy about chocolate and serious about people.
